I've seen death in quiet hum
It crosses streets without a look
It renders all as deaf and dumb
And lifts us from a rusty hook
/
It holds us high, then counts the length
As we are measured very slow
Looks at expiration dates
Death reels us in, then lets us go

Thank you so much for all the support!

I agree with Randy. Foreboding indeed! I don't like the idea of being fished out by Death.
A feeling as though someone had just walked over my grave, ominous foreboding in the light of day.
Hi Lisa - Miss You - A little dark for your humorous self - but that's what makes you a terrific composer - you write as you feel - Love it! A Favor? Please bop over to the 'History' section to see 'Cultural Exchange' for a moment - curious if I fit into the Youngins territory with this one - Thank you, Ms. Lisa J-Bud
