The first time

making love

the sunlight casts a glow

through the shadow of the leaves

dancing on the pavement

like the break of water on the sea

raindrop kisses cover my face

Soft fingertips graze my skin

Lips, velvet, caress my cheeks

Blankets of water as I sink in

Wrapped up in his love

Warm embrace like noon at midnight

Glowing eyes adore every inch of me

Summer day in the dark twilight
