the first day of summer

How many autumn winds must be blown before it becomes a clear autumn day

01

How many autumn winds must be blown

before it becomes a clear autumn day

The cicadas have stopped singing

The geese are preparing for a distant migration again

Those once verdant

The leaves that I applauded so enthusiastically with

Waiting for a wind to die with each passing day

to bid farewell

This grand farewell

How many times must one go through the parting

To be able to be in the autumn wind

Without making a sound

02

The sky became darker at this point

The farmers begin to fill their vine baskets

Grapes, skunk cabbage and corn

The persimmon tree, which was taking a nap, unconsciously

a leaf has fallen off.

The farmer's wife, resting in the morning, looks more and more like autumn.

Yesterday's sunflowers were still blazing

Today there is dew that fills a cup.
