The first boy at the Window

Love at first sight

By John WordsmithPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Through her window's frame, a sight divine,

A boy so wondrous, he made her heart entwine.

With eyes like stars, he shimmered in the light,

Capturing her gaze, a thief in the night.

His smile, a charm that could melt the snow,

In that fleeting moment, her feelings did grow.

A flutter within, like butterflies taking flight,

He stole her heart, oh, what a sight!

With every passing day, my window I'd seek,

Hoping his presence, her heart would keep.

A love so tender, yet unknown to him,

In dreams, his image would ever brim.

Though our worlds were separate, hearts apart,

she cherished the memory etched in her heart.

The first boy at the window, forever he'll be,

A love unspoken, yet cherished by her.
