The Fire Within

I’ve been burned, I’ve been scarred,

But those flames didn’t break me, they made me hard.

They tried to consume me, to make me bend,

But little did they know, I’d rise again.

I’ve walked through fire, with no way out,

Each step was filled with pain, with doubt.

But I never let the heat define me,

I fought the flames, and I set myself free.

The fire that once sought to tear me apart,

Is now the ember that lights my heart.

Each scar a story, each burn a lesson,

Each piece of me now a beautiful confession.

I am not the ashes left behind,

I am the fire, unbroken, untwined.

The heat may have tried to scorch my soul,

But I learned how to control the coal.

Now, I burn brighter than ever before,

My flames dance, wild, to the core.

I won’t hide from the heat, from the fight,

I embrace it all, for I am the light.

So, if you see me burning, don’t be afraid,

Know that this fire is the strength I’ve made.

I’ll rise from the ashes, again and again,

For the fire within will always win.
