The Final Journey

Embracing the Inevitable End

Inevitable end, the great unknown,

The final journey we all must take alone,

A passage to a place beyond our sight,

Where all that once was, fades into the night.

The Grim Reaper, with his scythe in hand,

Comes to claim us, on the appointed strand,

And though we fight, and strive to hold on tight,

In the end, we must succumb to his might.

Death is not an ending, but a new beginning,

A journey to a place of rest and forgetting,

Where pain and sorrow can no longer reign,

And we are free from the shackles of mortal pain.

Though we mourn for those who have passed away,

Their memories with us, in our hearts will stay,

For death may take the body, but not the soul,

And the love we shared, will forever be whole.

So let us cherish every moment we have,

With those we love, before we must leave and pass,

And when our time comes to bid this life goodbye,

May we embrace death, and let our spirits fly.
