He stands at the end of the hall
He was the man who took it all
He took me to a place I could have never guessed
He was the man who once told me that I was blessed
-
My life was good, it was great in fact
My plan was perfect as I had tracked
My degree was worth more than just paper
My decree could have played to my favor
-
I approach the man as he approaches me
I certainly hate him and he would agree
I leaned my face forward and his drew nearer
I placed my forehead on his and my breath fogged the mirror
-
The person I am is no longer free
The person I am is no longer me
The fateful mistake to fall to my addiction
The fateful mistake to loose my conviction
-
I hate him for what he's done
I hate him for who I've become
I look him in the eyes ready to end this strife
I look him in the eyes ready to fight for my life
-
I know this will be the fight of my life
