The way that I love you is sick
That is what they say
They see our love as sin
But what isn't to them
They don't know
Can't see
Turn away from
How man can love man
How she can love her
Or how they can love many
But that does not mean
We must do the same
I can't help how I feel
Your love is a drug
The high when I'm with you
When I look at you
And I kiss you in the dark
Away from eyes that hate
What you mean to me
Is more than what they ever will
I won't base my life on a tale
But on what is real
On you and how you make me feel
And so I don't care what they say
When they can't know
Our love the way we do
And so I ask you
Will you hear them
And run away
Or will you stay
And walk with me to hell
Hold my hand
Head held high
As we burn from a love so hot
No one else can know
How good it can feel
