times. I wait

you to save me.

weighs me down, sins blatant.

might have been close, but at

years old my Father relays his command.

Two years later and I find myself naked. Now

minutes pass, and I haven’t moved from my

unclean perch. Forsaking what he warned me about.

minutes. Feels like no time at all. I

fall deeper into the trials of temptation.

It coils around me, and I know I can’t

return. To defend myself is useless.
