She pulls you in with a seductive smile,
you drop your defenses, moving closer,
not noticing she’s spinning all the while,
and then you see another, standing stately and supreme,
too graceful for fidgety spinning,
she takes your measure as you pass between
the spinner and cutter, genesis and revelation,
shears poised, ready to sever your thread,
after your gospel is assessed.

Tempted by the fates. How beguiling. Well done
Wow.
This is a skillful improvisation upon the fates that mingles Attic Greek myth and a subtle nod to Christian theology with dexterity. Well done!
Loved it. The thread of fate is such a widespread and fascinating myth.
