I once saw words never written

colors never seen

heart rate quickens, breath impedes

gaze of desire bewitched by mystic eyes

the tale of the end, our love ramified

can I go back in time to the easy moments

to when it felt so simple, we held atonement

so fragile in our hands, one wrong move

left it tumbling to the ground, to the haunting remove

once it fell we left it there
