Once, amidst my weariness and worldly strife,

I encountered a man who offered respite for life.

Burdened and drained by stress’s heavy load,

I sought solace in things that others often told.

Therapy, nature’s calm, all fleeting relief,

Yet troubles return, causing my spirit grief.

Some seek solace in vices, a temporary balm,

Only to find emptiness and greater harm.

Then this man, offering water that satisfies eternally,

Promised peace and a burden light, inviting me.

He spoke of exchanging my heavy load for his,

A burden that leads to eternal joy and bliss.

His words resonated deep within my soul,

A promise of peace, making brokenness whole.

So, weary heart, lay down your heavy load,

And find in him a peace that forever flows.
