The Evolution of Travel

From the Ancient Paths to the Modern Skies

From the ancient paths that once were trod,

To the modern skies where planes now plod,

The evolution of travel, it's plain to see,

Has taken us places we never thought we'd be.

We started with footprints on dirt and sand,

And walked our way across many a land,

We journeyed by horse, and carriage too,

As we explored the world, through and through.

Then came the trains, with their rhythmic chug,

Crossing mountains and valleys, they gave us a hug,

And soon came the planes, with their wings so wide,

Taking us to places, we never thought we'd ride.

The evolution of travel, it's been quite a ride,

From camels and horses, to jets that glide,

We've explored the world, in so many ways,

And discovered new horizons, with every phase.

But amidst the progress, we must not forget,

The beauty of the journey, the people we've met,

For in the evolution of travel, we come to know,

The heart of the journey, that makes our hearts glow.

So let us cherish the memories, of the roads we've taken,

And the places we've been, and the bonds we've awoken,

For in the evolution of travel, we come to find,

The true joy of the journey, that stays with us, in heart and mind.
