Forever Together and Apart
In dawn's soft light, they share a rushed glance,
A stolen touch, their love's brief dance.
Two souls apart, yet so near,
Day breaks; shadows arise
Happiness, so brief,
Sadness abides
Yearning grows,
Lone hearts,
Ache.
