The Electromagnetic Spectrum

By Symone Brielle

By Symone BriellePublished 5 years ago 2 min read

I’ve learned that

Light is a spectrum.

The multitude of

Colors always

Appealed to me.

ROY G BIV is how

It was explained to

Me as a pre-teen.

A scale that measure

Frequency through energy.

Coded concentrations

that hit corneas after

being refracted.

My uniqueness is

That I can blend in

Wherever I happen

To fall on the spectrum

that day.

Because Black be

The blend of all light

Frequencies, secretly.

Today could be

A day where all colors

Radiate from my

Pulsating queerness.

Today the glow

From my chakras

Can be seen from

space.

Where I choose

To let all of chakras

Run wild and

spread love.

Yet, I’m

Down to earth

Roy cause conversation

From the boys

And the girls.

Roy roams the earth

Scouring and devouring

The woman species.

Roy hot like fire.

Burning with passion

And crafting. Creating

Life, art and the pursuit

Of happiness.

Roy will be strong.

Generating long lasting

Love making

room for what’s next

Roy shakes to awaken

the other chakras

G be me when I’m

in my bag dom daddy.

When G be free

she thud hard.

She crush a lot.

She hit the spot.

The strings she

pull be unfair,

The love she

gives to others is rare.

She wants to love

the rest of her body,

her Holy Ghost,

Her person.

You see, G

is in recovery.

The fractured pieces

Were swept to the

back and

love flows

uncontrollably

through the cracks.

G does all that

just to get loved back.

BIV be DeVoe.

Be diverse,

be direct,

And authentic.

BIV Be downloading

Visions Be

Speaking things

Into existence.

BIV be thinking

Of ways to

Get rich off

Words...

Be dreaming

Of book tours,

And paid performance.

Be desiring my

Higher calling

BIV be closest

To the universe.

I am a litany

Of energy

That expresses

Itself in

A magnetic field

Of colors that

Make me beautiful

To the

Naked eye

My black.

My brown.

Absorb sunshine

And splash it

Back.

in the

Earth.

I am black.

I am queer.

I am each

Part of me.

Displayed beautifully

Divinity covers me.

Devinly

Sees my undying

Need.

Too, constantly

Be expressed.
