Words can make you,
Or it can even break you
Words brighten your day
Or it can dampen your mood
Words can build bridges
Or it can break relationships
Words can bring comfort
Or it can make you feel short
~
Words are powerful
That we have all the access
The power to lighten one’s burden
And also to destroy one’s life
The choice is ours in every taking
To spread kindness and love
or hatred and pain
~
So before you write your words
Before you utter your phrases
Before you shout your sentences
Before you even type those letters
Be at peace with yourself
Be a friend to yourself
Be in love with yourself
~
Because when words come out from cynicism
From a world of hurt
From a realm of pain
Then words to destroy
To inflict torment
To create distress
Proceeds from it
~
But when words are coming from a place of love
A heart with peace
A dwelling of kindness
Then words to heal
Words to comfort
Words to love
Words to be a friend
Awakens from it.
~
In times when words clash,
ideas collide,
and minds meet with friction,
acknowledge the respect on the table.
Your words are right.
Your ideas are correct.
Your statement is true.
Just as theirs, too.
To end this, let me share the words of Pearl Strachan ,
"Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs."

Wow! This is a very beautiful and wonderful poem. Words hold great significance, and in every line of the poem, gems shine. The last line is also great! ✨
Words are so much stronger than sticks and stones combined! Fantastic poem!
Oh, this is golden! A whole masterclass on words and their superpowers—lifting up, tearing down, healing, or wrecking. That last quote? Absolute mic-drop moment. Loved it!
