People in these days had

To struggle for survival

They had to earn by growing

From the land

And there was this farmer

Danny, he was prude

And smart successful

Before the Depression

And now struggling to make it

He would talk to his plants

While watering them

With sweet water fighting the insects

As they were drawn towards them

Danny would

Chase away all the birds

And animals and watch

The sun to make sure

They did not harm them

Danny's Loaner came unusually

By to see about payment noticing

All the good crop and insisting

On immediately repayment

Danny argued, you come at my

House like that, at any hour

Demanding repayment. What about

Respect and decency? I know there's

A Depression but I have put everything into these crop and now

They have worth. So much, you will

Find your money on the time it's due.

Danny's Loaner without hesitation left quietly. Danny had enough to survive for years and brought his land, pay off his loans, and enough to start a family and help the unfortunate. He became a liked and stable farmer.
