As thunder rolled in the forest breeze

The Lions, the Wolves, the Eagles,

The Gorillas, the Bison, and the Crocodiles,

Were the Masters of the untamed Wild.

These were the powerful six Dynasties,

In the forests, the lakes, and the trees,

That moved over land in the breeze,

In the rough waters and on the jungle vines,

As the snake moves and the creeper twines.

There was a new lake of freshwater found,

As was a new lush green hunting ground.

A new species had walked into the forest,

An animal on two spindly legs,

A truly fragile and pitiful sight,

With a rod that shot and killed on sight.

It was a good hunt, quick and fast,

Four of these two-legged animals,

Were hunted to feed the hungry wild beasts.

The meat was sweet and tender,

Nothing as delicious as a calf or deer.

The Six Dynasties now feasted on their meal,

Lean beings called “men” who came on wheels.

The Lions were the strongest of the families,

They had the old, the wise, and the young,

Prowling, growling, and hunting in the breeze.

The Lion Dynasty was proud of its pride,

They hunted the wildlands and had control,

As far as the eagle could smoothly glide.

The lions protected the outer perimeter of the jungle,

While the other animals living in harmony,

As they were ruled by the strong Lion Dynasty.

The wolves, the black, the brown, and the grey,

Waited and hunted in packs on the ground,

As fresh meat was found lying around.

The Warrior Wolf of the Dynasty,

Kept his pack lean, wild and keen,

They were always the first to arrive,

To grab the remains of the fallen prey,

Nothing was to be saved for another day.

There was no time for any charity,

They were the vicious wolf Dynasty.

The skies were protected by Eagle wings,

There was no nightingale on a branch that sings.

The predators of the skies ruled with might,

Swooping down on prey, while in full flight.

The Eagles were the guardians of the skies,

They watched their terrain with eagle eyes.

There was no match for the Eagle in any tree,

It was all part of the majestic Eagle Dynasty.

The sound of the Gorillas could be heard,

As they moved through the tall wild trees,

Bending branches, chasing birds in the breeze.

The Gorillas and the chimpanzees kept watch,

Over the green canopies of the forest trees,

Where the forest moved towards the blue seas.

The Gorillas were the warriors of the jungles,

Keeping it safe for the smaller animals,

Like the deer, the rabbits, and the birds,

That heralded their arrival in twittering words.

The Gorillas were the muscled warrior of the tree,

They were the powerful and swift Gorilla Dynasty.

The Bison moved through the forests,

On to the large open evergreen plains,

This is where they could run wild and free,

Moving together in perfect harmony.

The Bison were massive moving beasts,

Not available for any animal feasts.

The Bison were powerful animals on the plains,

Knocking down trees in the storms and rains.

The Bison were the proud juggernauts,

A more impressive force you could not see,

They were the gigantic Bison Dynasty.

The waters were choppy and dangerous,

They were patrolled by the large crocodiles.

They were sharp jawed and moved in silence,

Before the hapless victim could move an inch.

The crocodile king and his savage families,

Kept the waters free from the being called man,

He was not part of their forest and jungle plan.

A number of those skinny beings called “man”,

Found their end at the jaws of a crocodile,

They were hunters of the waters in the wild.

There was no safety for you on land or in the sea,

It was protected by the Crocodile Dynasty.

The day arrived when they received,

That fateful call through the trees,

Through the branches and the wild leaves.

The Dynasties were to come together,

To protect their home and their kind,

From that fragile being called man.

The Lions stood proudly on their ground,

They snarled and growled all around.

The Wolves sneered at that thing called man,

They could tear him apart like a deer,

They knew that in his heart he held fear.

Eagles spread their wings and swooped,

Down to attack the men and their machines,

That shot fire like flowers of yellow and spattered red beans.

The Gorillas were ready for this big animal brawl,

Their strongest had gathered to give the battle their all.

The Bisons had gathered in their brute might,

To steamroll the enemy in this gruesome fight.

The crocodiles had surrounded the waters around the land,

They were ready to tear, feast on the blood and bone of man.

“The forest, the jungles, the waters, and the hills are ours,

We will not be killed and destroyed on land and Seas,

This is the anthem of the united animal Dynasties.”

They all chanted in unison in growls and howls,

The forest, the jungles, the land, and seas,

Was the home and hunting ground of the Dynasties.

The battle between man, beasts, and machines began,

There were guns and tanks firing into the beasts,

There was blood pouring, jaws tearing flesh,

It was one horrific, bloody and gory mess.

After six hours of death and mayhem,

Not an animal, bird, or beast stirred,

As they rested on the blood scarred earth,

On the land of their hunt and of their birth.

There was an eerie silence in the jungle breeze,

Then the sound of thunder moved through the trees.

The sound of that prophetic chant could be heard,

Every utterance so heartfelt said word for word.

“The forest, the jungles, the waters, and the hills are ours,

We will not be killed and destroyed on land and Seas,

This is the anthem of the united animal Dynasties.”
