The Dream You Said I Couldn't Reach.

Now I Know It's Not Impossible To Achieve

All my life I wanted to be a star,

But, you told me that it couldn't be done;

You told me that my voice was weak,

And that my singing was out of tune;

You told me that I'd never make it,

That I'd always walk alone,

You always left me in the shadows,

You blocked out all of the sun;

I'm no longer drowning in your words,

My voice all will hear,

And when I make it to the top,

You're all gonna want to be here,

Today I sang in front of a professional,

Who told me I could sing,

So choose your words carefully,

You won't believe what you're about to

Hear,

Now here I stand in lights that glitter,

The powerful singer that I am,

Now I know it's not impossible,

To reach the dream you said

I couldn't reach,

Don't judge me until you've heard me,

You know I can blow your mind;

All those bullying days are over,

Time to leave the past behind,

So remember me when you see me,

Under those glittering lights,

I'll never forget what you said to me,

But my life is mine to live,

You'll never destroy what I am building,

I'll work 'til I succeed,

The dream you said I couldn't reach,

Now I know it's not impossible to

Achieve.
