The dream

A poem

I saw something that sparked my mind,

And found myself wondering why.

It took a whole year for another sign.

And the second time I was lost inside.

A sparking place of my deepest dreams,

Where I found everything I could want.

Let myself believe in hope and love,

And challenge all the thoughts of reality.

And so I went for a third time,

To feel that inner feeling of bliss.

For I knew I would soon miss.

And it was all I wanted and more,

And left me with such a drive of joy.

That I came and looked at my reality.

Knowing I would have to destroy.

The comfy lie I had built for me.

If I ever wanted to truly live inside my dream.
