The devil, a figure steeped in mystery,
A symbol of evil, the epitome.
With a sly grin and a wicked tongue,
He tempts the good and corrupts the young.
But is he just a myth, a tale of old,
Or a manifestation of the evil in our soul?
For in each of us, there's a dark side to find,
The urge to sin and leave reason behind.
So beware of the devil, and keep him at bay,
For the greatest evil is the one within us all the way.
