Got like three and a half scoops of vanilla ice cream

Putting them in a clear glass cup from the cabinet

Watching the cream melt little by little in seconds

Then comes the soda pouring in straight from the bottle

Whether it would pespi or root beer the common ones

Or cola cola and maybe a large splash of sprite

Even the fruit flavored sodas might be part of it too

Cherry red soda going well with a cherry on top

The spray of whipped cream going in deep the drink

The three scoops floating in the root beer and fizzing

Now it was time to scoop every bite and sip out

What a delicious poem and now I want a soda float. By the way Cherry soda/pop goes terrific with vanilla ice cream.
