The Depths Within

Thoughts

Beneath the gaze so pure, so kind,

A labyrinth lies, within the mind.

A soul sincere, a heart of gold,

Yet secrets linger, untold, untold.

The brightest smile, the gentle word,

Can mask a truth that’s seldom heard.

For even those who shine so bright

Carry shadows in the night.

We stumble, we fall, we err, we stray,

Each soul has walked the flawed pathway.

Yet mistakes, like storms, will pass, will fade,

They’re not the sum of what we’ve made.

For who we are is more than sin,

More than the battles fought within.

It’s courage born of lessons learned,

The phoenix rising from wounds burned.

Judge not the depths you cannot see,

Each heart holds its own mystery.

Embrace the flaws, the cracks, the scars,

For that’s where light escapes to stars.

So let us walk with grace, with care,

Knowing secrets linger everywhere.

A human truth, both dark and sweet—

Our faults and triumphs make us complete.
