The Depth of the Sea
Where mystery, loss, and freedom meet
By Rohitha LankaPublished 9 months ago • 1 min read

It is true that the ocean is deep
And the shore is quite deep.
When the magnetic quality that exalts the north is gone
The heart of a compass
Is open to the other seven directions.
Lighthouses are always mysterious in the daytime
And are delightful in the dark.
It is true that ships have sunk near the Cape of Good Hope
And the names of the sunken ships are famous
And those that did not sink are unknown.
Ships that have set foot on the shore of the sea in the grip of disaster
Are free from harsh words
Of the pirates.
