The Deepest Eclipse Of The Night
A beauty to be seen with our Eye’s

The Deepest Eclipse Of The Night
The sky is burning low and red,
The ocean hums without a sound.
A shadow crowns the sinking sun,
As darkness folds across the ground.
The waves reflect a crimson glow,
A trembling light upon the deep.
It feels as though the world stands still,
And every star has gone to sleep.
I watch the heavens close their eyes,
A circle drawn in silver flame.
The universe becomes a breath,
That has no memory or name.
In moments such as these I find
The quiet truth I try to hide,
That even light can lose its way,
And fall beneath a darker tide.
Yet in the black I hear a pulse,
A steady beat that will not fall.
A spark of life behind the veil,
That answers when I choose to call.
The night becomes a turning wheel,
It spins the dreams I never speak.
It breaks me open just to show
That endings do not make me weak.
For even when the sky is gone,
And shadow swallows every sight,
I feel the promise in the void,
That day will chase the longest night.
So let the fire crown the dark,
And let the ocean glow like wine.
For through eclipse and shadowed waves,
The rising sun will always shine.

What a way to catch a sunset and sunrise in a poem.
This poem is beautiful and well expressed.
