The Day the Sky Fell Down

Nothing left the end of us all a world now extinct

The Day the Sky Fell Down By George’s Girl

The Day the Sky Fell Down

The clouds hit earth; Bang

all met their doom,

the day the sky

fell to the ground.

No other earth.

No world left now,

No life, nothing.

Is there still heaven?

has God gone away?

Did the devil win

his evil way?

Was it a nuclear war

that destroyed everything?

No more birdsong,

No anything.

Surely god would not destroy?

The sky and earth, now gone.

nothing alive,

nothing to carry on.

No air to breathe,

no birds to fly,

no friends, no enemies,

no you, no I.

The day there was no earth,

no oxygen, no sky,

the devil won;

he destroyed everything.

Now no you, no I,

no anything, or anyone.

The day the sky fell down

with an explosion

so mighty and sad,

the end of all life.

No good no bad.
