The Darkness within Me

Souls

By Catherine Therese BonnerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The darkness inside of me is like a hibernating bear.

Asleep for the winter and freshly awakened in the spring

Like a wolf closing in on its prey

That first taste of blood that ignites

An insatiable appetite

A never ending thirst

A hunger, A craving

An addiction that is never ending

A dawning, A formidable occurrence

Like the first winters snow fall

Cold...... yet much needed and expected

A winter wonderland to get lost in

An abyss of never ending satisfaction

A witch with a dragons heart

A demure, yet dangerous creature

A heretic A heathen

Ready to be to be put to the question
