The Dancers

I Imagined Her Dancing

By AmbroseVoxPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The hem of your dress swirling,

your long hair whirling,

around, around you turn,

and as I watch my heart begins to burn.

The beating threatens to breach

as you stop and longing reach,

all it takes is your emerald glance,

and I am in your trance.

Our fingers lace,

we close the space,

and as our fleet begin to fly,

we never leave the other’s eye.

As we flounce along to the singer,

let us for a while linger,

our souls flowing like a stream,

while we bask in this dream.
