Love is dancing, always near
A melody for life to hear.
Feel the joy, embrace the light,
Let the world bloom, shining bright.
The breeze whispers, hearts take flight,
Happiness wakes the morning light.
Clapping hands, the rhythm flows,
Drums of life where passion grows.
The flowers smile, the birds will sing,
Dreams arise with each new spring.
Streams will run, they guide the way,
Life renews with every day.
Love is dancing, always near,

The sun ascends, it paints the skies,
Kisses the earth as hope will rise.
Nature calls with songs so sweet,
Life and love in harmony meet.

In its arms, where we belong.
Oh, live the moment, seize the day,
Feel the breeze and let it sway.
Hold the joy within your heart,
From the world, don’t drift apart.

Let’s Go Back in Time A journey so beautiful, lost in time, Let’s look back and rewind. You'll find that your companion, your friend, Was there for you, until the very end. Even the places hold secrets untold, Whispering stories from days of old. Can’t you recall the steps you took? With your beloved, your life’s precious book. The road you walked sang your tune, Joyful verses under the moon. So here’s my song, let me share, A melody of a time so rare. (Chorus): Oh, the journey was a fleeting dream, A happy moment, or so it seemed. Life passed like a sweet refrain, A brief, bright spark in time’s domain. We were young, lost in our skies, Dreams unfolding before our eyes. But time moved on, and when we woke, The words we spoke became a cloak. She turned to me, my journey’s flame, And said, "It’s done, we’ve won the game." I smiled back, and with a sigh, "My dream was you, my lullaby." Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
