the curious case of a small-sized woman

a poem

she had a small figure

you would never have guessed

that she ate fat in high amount

each time in the basement with her husband

nobody knew about it as this secret

never came to light

it was supposed to be only for her eyes

she kept butter in her second fridge

no one ever looked there, so she felt

innocent

a mischievous child who is always quiet

catching up on

when everyone could observe

meagre portions as a result of a childhood spent

in poverty

don’t get me wrong, it was her own sin

so that you can see with your own eyes

however, as the years rolled by

a doctor advised

that the cholesterol level is higher

it’s not good for her health

after some time, stents were applied

to prevent blood vessels from closing

after angioplasty performed

only she knew she had done harm

to her own health and no one else

and yet she still maintained her innocence

shrugging off every attempt

intending to influence her

she did not care about the disease

everyone was dancing around her feet

apparently, she has become

the most important person in her home

as soon as the other main narc was gone

so, she was the only person who could replace him like no one else

she was still so small you can tell

fat can be in the veins, my dear!
