The Crowded GF House

A short poem

By James ChristiePublished 5 years ago 1 min read
No amount of cleaning I did would make any difference in the Crowded GF House.

The Crowded GF House

At the Crowded GF House, it’s everywhere

Boxes, bags, dirt and dog hair

Grime in the bathroom, grime in the sink

Coackroach on the floor, the room’s a-stink

At the Crowded GF house, it’s a total nightmare

Never pulls her weight, doesn’t really care

About the constant untidiness, the constant mess

Selfish and lazy as she always confess

Given up persuading to sort herself out

As I’m always accused of moaning, leaving self doubt

That I cannot live any more at the Crowded GF House

Which includes many a guinea pig, dog, rabbit and mouse

Caring more for her pets in her hoarders paradise

As I squeeze past doors, tripping over thrice

Rubbish, faeces and her clothes on the floor

Sink full of dirty dishes and yet there is still more

Mind where you walk in that tip of a garden

There's dog shit everywhere so mind your feet

Really an so sorry, and I do beg your pardon

But to clean up her mess is a constant feat

In the utterly Crowded GF House.

About the Creator

James Christie

I love writing! Especially autobiogs. Because life for most people isn't a bed of roses so I tell it exactly how it is, brutal, warts an'all.

I am also re-enactor, railway historian, photographer...and ex punk
