who made you the critic

the one to impress

you ask for a change

but I won’t regress

you slander your words

you mark up my work

but who made you the critic

who can’t appreciate these quirks

why should I go in your direction

why should I follow your lines

do you think that your the only one

with a sound mind

who says that my talent

is even geared towards you

maybe I did it for myself

instead of appealing to your point-of-view

and if I disregarded your pen

and the critique that you gave

would you even have a job

if no one behaved

isn’t your position’s reality

just because others care of your thoughts

so essentially it wouldn’t exist

if no one bought

your opinion
