The creator (masterpiece):
oh how the melody speaks
upon screams wake
crescendos and breaks
the blood flows red
across canvass fine and spread
oh, my dear sweet muse
I hath only one fear
as I use thy bounty
is but one life
to give for the sheer
beauty that is art
that tarry or wander
gifts shall be squandered
and such distaste
shall never merit
this artist true
from this pallet
of splendor and grander
in this our greatest moment
our time of unison
of oneness
the joy of true creation
the sounds of your screams
as I hold dear your spleen
forming something new and clean
smiling a true masterpiece
to be seen
Kalorriinn, James. Mason
Pyrrhic:
I look upon the grey
same ole empty life
the color's bled away
the world is rife with regret
my existence is pyrrhic
long, joyless and rue
the blades that cross the flesh
and the hands that tied the noose
pills they say cure all
but here I sit still trapped
tearing at the holes
once were heart and soul
stuck inside this mind
passing the slowing time
waiting for the night
the stars a memory
my shadow fades away
its friendship,
the only thing that's real
Kaloriinn, James. Mason
Persist:
Sing for what the morrow brings
In sorrow as it never brings
promises belonging to a never land
gasping for air
Meant for those that comply
Deepest in this internal void
Drowning, from tears run dry
My low the new form of high
Diffidence that punishes breathing
Dreams of stars long dead and dying
a comfort in confiding
In the grave, forever the lie
like scars upon the wrists
with no wish so fleeting
Endless sleep, so tired
of the ceaseless drum beating
Can I find the answers I seek
in this nightmare I keep
Why I exist, reasons unknown
as against all reasons
against my will
against the odd
Stuck in this persistence
Kalorinn, James. Mason.

I have been writing for years.. I don't have much posted here, considering everything I have or have lost over time. I have been writing songs and turning old works into music lately
