Your soul matters
I heard the pulse of your heartbeat that day, such miraculous atoms of life. Discerning a deific intelligence, I honoured the rhythmic hellos, played out by a spiritual fife.
And your soul matters
Your soul matters so much to me
I watched, as divine breath filled new lungs with warm precious air. Your eyes considered the room and my face as I took in your unique embodiment. A moment frozen forever in time.
And your life matters
Your life matters so much to me
I adored your wonderfulness from a deep and foreign place. You're a gift, lighting up my dark and damaged world.
And your wonderfulness matters
Your wonderfulness matters so much to me
I see you now as a woman, a beautiful soul, esoterically created from the burrows of my womb. You are pure joy, and I am thankful—so thankful and so utterly proud.
And I thank you
I thank you for making me proud
You shine a bright light into my dark and damaged world
