The Comforts of Bed

The Haven of Sweet Dreams and Peaceful Nights

By new kingPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Wrapped in the sheets, I find my peace,

In the sanctuary of my bed, all troubles cease.

The softness of the pillows, the warmth of the cover,

It's where I find my solace, it's where I find my lover.

For this bed is my refuge, a place of reprieve,

Where my dreams take flight, and my soul can breathe.

It's where I shed my worries, and let my guard down,

A place of respite, where happiness can be found.

As I lay in the darkness, I'm surrounded by calm,

A quiet stillness, that's like a soothing balm.

And I feel my body sink, into the plushness below,

As my mind drifts away, to a place where I can grow.

For the bed is more than just a place to sleep,

It's a haven of comfort, where my soul can keep.

It's where I find my peace, it's where I find my rest,

And I know in this place, I am truly blessed.

So I close my eyes, and let myself go,

To a world of dreams, where I can freely flow.

For in the comforts of my bed, I am truly free,

To be myself, to be happy, to simply just be.
