The color of we is derived

from deep within

that which we thrive

It is the leap we sometimes take

from empty to full

with much at stake

The color of we trumps you or me

it is the unification

of duality

The color of we: past, future and today,

makes the sounds we hear

and the words we say

It creates our cultures, it’s all that’s achieved

it’s everything added, taken away,

and all things perceived

It is the color of we

that sets the stage

for happiness and sometimes rage

It makes us move and sometimes stay,

but without a doubt

a most beautiful chromatic display
