The Color of Me

Invisibility

Struggling I fear

For a color you see

The accurate revere

A color that’s me

Red is so dear

For I love deeply

Blue I do fear

As I hurt greatly

Its None do you hear

No color suits me

My words are sincere

Eyes go right through me

Self worth I hold dear

Staring blankly

Masking one tear

No longer trust sanely

My pride is mere

Its true to me only

It’s not of my peer

They’ve no interest to know me

Their words outright sear

Kindred forsake thee

Long to disappear

Eluding my casualty

All inclusive they cheer

Of my liberty

Not shedding one tear

For yours truly

Though I inhere

Standing discreetly

My color is clear

Ergo no one sees me
