The Color of Choice...

A beautiful color

By Kimberly RaineyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The power of a woman is insurmountable as she rises above herself, never defeated. The colors of defections are many, onset in her youth and in choices made. She refuses to accept the unjust accusations and assumptions of those who judge. She will not be defeated.

The power of a woman lies deep as her depths are made strong, just by sheer willingness. The colors of ones will are many, onset in youth and in disappointments placed. Her will is stronger than her. Society lies to each other and the unforgiving are cruel. She will rise above it.

The power of a woman stands upright as her journey has consequences, facing lessons learned. The colors of life’s lessons are many, much of which she sought and some, given her by offense. She never saw it coming and the feeling of failure is confusing. She chooses to be stronger for it.

The power of a woman is firm in stance as she fights, for equality and rights. The colors of battle are many as she demands to love herself, after all acceptance is a choice. Societies expectation, such insecurities and self righteousness. She chooses to fight for what is right, an encouragement even.

The power of a woman rises above as others set out to condemn, in hand she carries sword and shield. The colors of condemnation are many but she fights for only two, for herself and them. Society has bred imagery, and it’s ugly. She chooses to embrace the unique and lovely in her differences.

Never underestimate the power of a woman. A woman who’s chosen to love herself, and mind is made. Her strength has grown insurmountable and her stance made firm. She fights against the many colors, even those with beautiful intent. The misguided want to hurt and are selfish, disregarding the rights of others. The colors are many, but one stands out to her. It’s the most beautiful thing, common sense even. So she will fight, stance firm with sword in hand. Yes, she fights because she’s learned in life’s endless lesson...that choice, is a color too.
