The Clock That Learned to Listen
A quiet tale of time, patience, and unseen kindness
By Muhammad Saad Published 25 days ago • 1 min read

The clock ticked in a forgotten room,
Counting moments no one claimed.
Its hands moved softly,
Never asking to be noticed.
Walls listened,
The floor remembered footsteps.
Time passed like a whisper,
Gentle and slow.
One day, the clock paused,
Not broken—just thinking.
It listened to the silence,
And learned its shape.
Minutes became kinder,
Seconds learned to wait.
The room felt lighter,
As if patience had entered.
The small plant grew taller,
Fed by quiet hours.
Dust began to glow,
In beams of honest light.
When the clock moved again,
Time felt less heavy.
It had learned this truth:
Hearts heal when time listens.
