Enjoy The Sunshine
Attention, neighbors—
the sky will be wearing
its brightest blue today.
Please step outside,
let your shadows stretch,
and remember—
you belong to this light.
Take your pet with you.
Sit on a blanket.
Relax, and read a great book.
Bask in the sunshine.
Listen to the children
Laugh and play.
Watch the clouds when they appear
And see the sun shine bright up high.
Enjoy a picnic lunch,
Keep the ants away.
When your done, go for a swim
Or take a nap on the lawn.
This will be the best day
Of the rest of your life.
