The City

~ A Poem

By KA Stefana Published about a year ago • 1 min read
Sketched by Author & Colored by my granddaughter

Alone

I watch

As the world

Speeds by

Voices

Near and far

Conversations

Escalating

The bus

Rolls by

Traffic light

Turns green

A distant

Siren

Wails on

It's journey

Eyes averted

Strangers

Step to

The other side

I turn

The volume

Of the Music up

Again

Ignore

The crowds

A child's

Cry

Hiding

In my own

Little

World

Another sketch for my granddaughter to color
