The Christmas Sparkle

Holy Night

By Dagmar GoeschickPublished about a year ago 1 min read

The tree lights glow, a wondrous sight,

Children’s eyes gleam in the soft starlight.

Presents beneath, wrapped with care,

Whispers of magic fill the air.

Cookies and chocolate on plates that gleam,

Sparkling bright like a Christmas dream.

The wait is over, the moment is near,

For the season of joy is finally here.

Each story told, each song they sing,

Of Santa’s sleigh and the gifts he'll bring.

Of Rudolph’s nose, so bright and red,

And the Grinch’s heart that grew instead.

They write their wishes with hopeful cheer,

Letters to Santa at the North Pole each year.

Night after night, they gaze at the sky,

Hoping to catch his sleigh passing by.

As bedtime comes, they fight their sleep,

For a glimpse of Santa, their hearts leap.

They dream of stockings hung with care,

And a world of wonder everywhere.

Then morning breaks with a golden hue,

Laughter and joy fill the room anew.

The wait, the magic, the dreams they keep,

All come alive in a moment so sweet.

This is Christmas through children’s eyes,

A season of love beneath winter skies.

A sparkle, a wish, a world of delight,

Forever glowing on a Christmas night.

For the season of joy is finally here. It's not far away that is for sure. Well done.
