The Chosen One

What's it like to be the chosen one?

What's it like to be the chosen one?

It's terrible actually.

I'm not the chosen one in the traditional sense.

I'm no one's favourite- unless you ask my dog, then I am the most favourite person in the universe.

I'm the chosen one in the sense of being the escape goat- the punching bag. The one where you need something and I'm suddenly the most favourite person in the world.

What's it like to be born to just serve? To exist but not be able to live?

It's a death sentence.

I'm told I can go live my life- go travel- enjoy life

but on terms and conditions.

That's not a life.

I refuse to be servant any longer.

I'm exhausted of being a door mat- I want to be the door.

How does one become a door?

At least with a door you can close it and lock it.

sad poetry

I know this feeling all too well. I'm an invisible child, but I only truly realized it when I completely disappeared from their sight. That's when the horror began, revealing all the hypocrisy they'd been hiding for decades (and still lingering!). Just do your thing and let them wish they'd known. You'll never win against narcissists unless you're one yourself. Even if it seems like they're constantly winning, they're losing, not just to us, but to their entire lives, trying to make others revolve around them and underestimate us. Their loss!

2026 seems to be the year many of us are rejecting being available to those who aren’t available to is. Stay strong and devote your life to you. Fuck ‘em if they don’t like it. 💖

wrong!? hypothesis. why is serving seen as demise instead your joy and art, a day's purpose?! so, you judge carpets :) why not the door as well? doors are two faced :) serving masters of hands. are hands honorable and feet are not? why would you not be a whole house? one of universe not of snail :) i would check my pop-up eyes :) nice try .
