In My Scrambled Head

There’s a symphony in my head,

and a rather odd one at that.

It’s hastened and unruly,

often sharp but sometimes flat.

It less resembles angelic singing

but more so bangs and clangs

with crass crescendos

and jazzy jang-a-langs.

They need some work.

Oh, God, they do!

A whole lot’a practice

and a conductor too.

But I digress.

Who am I to complain?

Who else has a symphony

sounding in their brain?
