The Caribbean In Me

Carnival

By UniquePoetPublished 6 years ago 1 min read
Down in Skinner Park, Where it all Start- Nadia Batson

The energy

The vibration

The colors

The Excitement

Soca

Calypso

The African Beat

Celebratory Music

A Caribbean Festival

Carnival.

A Caribbean Party

A party that is always filled

As they say Jam Packed

Dances that Mesmerizes an

Unsuspecting Tourist

Feteing with our Peers

Whole time we partying.

Having fun

La de da ing

Freedom in it's Purest Form

Caribbean Blood in me.

Party Party

All night we drinking

Festival of Colors

Indulging ourselves in the oldest form of Mockery

Canboulay

Friday Morning

Canboulay

Spirit of Freedom Takes over.

A Experience to remember

Free Up Yourself

Embrace Your True Self

Caribbean Enticements

Like a Rituals

The Beat of The Music

Takes you over

The Beat of the Drums

Brings your inner self

To a Climax,

Next you know

Your whole body can dingolay.

With the rising dust in your face.

Carnival,

A Caribbean Experience

Making you never want to leave.

A real Caribbean Carnival.
