Rolling rains with echoing thunder
I am here, standing in the eye
Life seems to drag us constantly under
and everything else seems like a lie.
Here and now is the hope
Standing with iron will
My stubborn ability to cope
Amazes me even still.
Hopes light is my flame
The steady shooting arrow
Keeping myself steady just the same
with the need to be on the straight and narrow.
Tell me now, scream it if you must
Heart feel free to loudly shout
Thine own self you must fully trust
Otherwise you will never get out.
What are your pulsing hearts desires
Surely you must keep it in your mind
Let loose the tides of your own hellfire
Open up, fire away, go see what you'll find.
Always, always a game plan you must make
Always, always you must keep your dreams in sight
No matter the cost, do whatever it takes
Never give up, never give in, and never back down from the fight.
Your dreams are yours and yours alone
Only you can make those around you believe
Make your fire and fight duly known
Take the chance and become a sight to be seen!
