The calamity of the mountain.

In the base of the mountain, where pressure combined with heat,

Where armies do not tread, the devastation of the fleet.

A terror in the darkness where the fiery furnace tread,

The remains of the conquered, the company of the dead.

Sleeping on the molten rock, shrewd and without error,

The calamity of the furnace, Garbun the terror.

A dragon told in tragedies, sung in mournful song,

Where the evil ever lingered, fortified, strong,

Many knights dared to take up the chalice,

To fight against the wickedness, the malice,

The darkness in the kingdoms, the fear to surely creep,

Anxieties in the hearts of men, the cries and tears to weep!

None would go to fight against, lest they surely error,

The calamity of the furnace, Garbun the terror.

Darker days had lingered, days of desperate woe,

The desire for freedom, for the heart to know,

But none would dare muster the courage to seek reprieve,

Few could even fathom, much less then to believe,

Shadows the continued on, there and then,

The frailty of the hearts, the cowardice of men,

And so it lingered, for none would risk the error,

The calamity of the furnace, Garbun the terror.
