The Burt Farm

the Burt Farm is so lovely and grand

with all of its lush green land

and beautiful ponds full of trout and things

slowly spilling into crystal clear springs

through waterfalls and bubbling brooks

flowing gracefully from peak to nook

and towering green trees standing tall

all but a few that are still small

with names of children bestowed upon

in loving memory for them to live on

while chirping birds are everywhere

they are flying and twirling through the air

with crisp sweet and clean mountain living

it’s plenty of love this Burt Farm is giving
