The Bridge

Verse 1
There’s a silence where the fault lines run
Where stories split and hearts come undone
But I’ve seen the light between the cracks
And I won’t turn my back
Pre-Chorus
You say the chasm’s too wide to cross
But I’ve walked with ghosts and carried loss
Still I rise, still I reach
Still I speak
Chorus
You can stand in the divide
And still choose to be the bridge
Hold the weight of both sides
And still offer love to live
Let the winds howl, let the ground shake
I’ll be the vow no fear can break
You can stand in the divide
And still choose to be the bridge
Verse 2
I’ve heard the thunder of righteous rage
And the hush of a soul disengaged
But truth is more than taking sides
It’s the grace to unify
Bridge
Stone by stone, word by word
We build what’s never been heard
From the ache, from the flame
We rise and rename
Final Chorus
You can stand in the divide
And still choose to be the bridge
Not for glory, not for pride
But for every soul that lives
Let the night fall, let the doubt scream
I’ll be the thread that holds the dream
You can stand in the divide
And still choose to be the bridge
