In a cozy little house,

Lived a bossy cat and a naughty dog,

Under the same roof they did grouse,

Their owners, also shared the same log.

The cat would swish her tail,

And order the dog around,

The dog, with a wag and a wail,

Would follow, but with a playful bound.

The cat would hiss and growl,

Demanding her space and peace,

The dog would bark and howl,

Asking for play and release.

Their owners watched with amusement,

At this unlikely duo's antics,

The cat and dog, with no resentment,

Were two characters, truly romantic.

For in their own funny way,

They showed love and camaraderie,

In this house, day after day,

Their friendship grew with each spree.

So if you have a cat and dog,

Take a cue from this funny tale,

Let them play and be merry like a cog,

And their friendship will never fail.
